It stands for sincere ties of friendship and amaranthine friendship, so it is called amaranth, or Eupatorii Herba. In ancient time, there was a knight, who was romantic and amorous. He waded into the water for picking up this bluish violet flowerlet when he knew his lover liked this flower, but unfortunately, he was washed away by the inundation. Before washing away, he threw the flower to his lover on the bank at risk of his life and cried, Do not forgive me. This story is so moving, so the flower is called Myosotis by the later generations.

 

Cultivation:

proper temperature for planning is 15-25°C. While planning, open osculum at the bottom of pot and cap, and then water the plant in the pot slowly and evenly until superfluous water discharge from the osculum.

It takes about 7-15 days to burgeon and should get about 50% of sunlight before burgeoning. It needs abundant sunshine and watering once each day after burgeoning.

When seedling grows vigorous after 6-8 weeks, it should be transplanted and planted into a bigger pot or earth. The period from planning to blossoming is about 16-20 weeks.
